What data we process

• Identification and contact data — name, address, email, phone, and Company ID/VAT for businesses.
• Account and activity data — sign-in details, your listings, favourites, bids and offers.
• Payment data — data needed to settle deposits and payments (account number, variable symbol; card data is processed by the payment gateway provider).
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, cookies and usage data.

Why we process data and on what basis

• Providing the service and performing the contract — running your account, participating in auctions, processing deposits and payments (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Legal obligations — accounting and tax duties (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Legitimate interest — securing and improving the site, traffic measurement, and direct marketing to customers (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Consent — analytics and marketing cookies, sending the newsletter to interested users (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share data with

We mostly process data ourselves. Where necessary we share it with vetted processors and recipients:

• Google Ireland Limited — hosting and authentication (Firebase), traffic measurement (Google Analytics).
• Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — measuring and targeting ads on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Pixel, remarketing and the Conversions API — server-side sharing of a hashed email and conversion data), only with your consent.
• Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. — card payment processing (when that option is active).
• Fakturoid s.r.o. — issuing invoices and documents.
• Fio banka, a.s. — matching incoming bank deposit payments.
• Twilio Inc. (SendGrid) — sending emails (transactional messages and the newsletter).
• Accounting, tax and legal advisers; public authorities where required by law.

Some recipients (in particular Google and Meta) may process data in the USA. Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; for transfers outside the EU we ensure appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses). For the Meta Pixel we act as joint controllers with Meta for the stage of collecting and transmitting data from your browser.

How long we keep data

We keep data for as long as necessary for the given purpose — for the life of your account and contractual relationship, for the period required by law (e.g. accounting records), or until consent is withdrawn where processing is based on consent.

Your rights

• Right of access to your data and a copy of it.
• Right to rectification of inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure and restriction of processing.
• Right to data portability.
• Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest and to direct marketing.
• Right to withdraw consent at any time.

For vehicle recommendations and ad targeting we may profile you (analysis of your on-site behaviour). This is not automated decision-making with legal effects; you can object to profiling for direct-marketing purposes at any time.
